SOWiL Limited has to its credit extensive experience of providing consultancy services for design/ Proof checking, project preparation and Construction Supervision of a number of bridges, ROBs, and other structures. In house expertise for undertaking assessment of Bridge Structures and recommendation of rehabilitation measures is another feature of the TransRail Division of SOWiL Limited. The Engineers have large experience in dealing with these types of works and in putting up structures across operating Railway Lines. The company has carried out/in hand the following major assignments:

• Project Management and Proof Consultancy (Feasibility Study, Detailed Design and Construction Supervision) for ROB at Rajura at km 111/600 on Jam- Warora- Chandrapur-Rajura-Asifabad Road near Nagpur, a BOT Project.
• Project Management and Proof Consultancy (Feasibility Study, Detailed Design and Construction Supervision) for ROB near Warora on Chimur-Warora-Wani Road near Nagpur, a BOT Project.
• Preparation of Detailed Project Report for 6-lane 600 m long ROB (with 2-lane service roads on both sides) on Road No. 63 at Railway crossing No. 3 at Delhi Saharanpur line at Delhi and advice and Quality assurance during construction stage
• Design and quality assurance consultancy of 12 m wide and 73.28 m long FOB in the busy Mumbai suburban section of Central Railway at Ghatkopar. Completely new concepts are being adopted for these schemes, which will reduce the climb of the commuters by as much as one metre despite adoption of PSC superstructure.
• Design and quality assurance consultancy of 12 m wide and 69 m long FOB in the busy Mumbai suburban section of Central Railway at Dombivli. Completely new concepts are being adopted for these schemes, which will reduce the climb of the commuters by as much as one metre despite adoption of PSC superstructure.
• Consultancy for rebuilding of Bridge No. 144 on Virar-Surat section of Western Railway. This work involves rebuilding of a bridge washed away in floods, on the same alignment under traffic conditions.
• Proof Checking of Design and Drawings of Superstructure of 135 m long Railway Bridge at Ehegaon Viaduct between Mumbai and Igatpuri
• Preparation of Design, Drawings and Documents For Construction of 2-lane Rail Over Bridges at km 17.17 and 21.48 on Road Sector SilcharBadarpur (NH-53), Length of bridges 69.5 m and 79 m respectively, overall width - 12 m.
• Design of Rail Bridge 441 on Southern Railway: This assignment consists of design of Railway Rail Bridge (existing 2x6.10m) to be rebuilt as 1x25.5m PSC Semi-Through Girder for TPTY-PAK-KPD- Gauge Conversion works.
• Design for Rehabilitation of Tapti bridge on Central Railway.
• Consultancy for Koyna Bridge (9 spans of 15 m each RC Framed - submersible).
• Design of ROB at Lonand on Central railway (BOT Project)
• Design of Nira Bridge at km 69/600 and widening of bridge on canal at km 72/200 on Nira Lonand Satara section of SH-61
• Survey, Design and Project Management Consultancy of Flyover at Pimpari for PCMC
• Survey, Design and Project Management Consultancy of two major bridges on Mula River at Pune
• Design and Project management Consultancy for construction of Box Culvert at km 666/555 for Konkan Railway.
